"Miles of Smiles Marathon" is a 3-week healthy walking challenge designed to encourage elderly participants to build positive lifestyle habits through daily walking. The programme is jointly run by Worldcare and non-profit charity Seed Story, and is currently being rolled out across multiple NGO centres in Hong Kong.

How It Works
Three simple steps to join

Day 1 — Watch Distribution & Health Assessment
Participants receive a smart health watch and undergo an initial assessment covering blood pressure, BMI, grip strength, and waist measurement to establish a health baseline.

3-Week Challenge — Daily Step Tracking
Wear the watch to log daily steps. Weekly-updated leaderboards track individual step counts and community cheers. Share a unique link to gather support from family and friends.

Final Day — Results & Awards
A closing health assessment compares before-and-after data. Awards are presented, and each participant receives a personal health summary report.
